Egypt – Built to stand the test of time

Egypt is an awe-inspiring show built from over 2 million LEGO bricks that presents visitors with the majesty and wonder of the ancient kingdom. The show contains over 65 models depicting scenes from ancient Egypt, artefacts and spectacular models.

Our Egyptian explorers will be taken on a journey down the Nile experiencing sights and sounds from 3,000 years ago. Come face-to-face with life-size figures of Tutankhamun and Cleopatra, view dioramas of daily life in ancient Egypt and read the ancient hieroglyphics to unlock the secrets of the Valley of the Kings.

The show contains a wide array of models including impressive statues and obelisks, giant LEGO pyramids and wildlife familiar to the ancient Egyptians. Sounds, descriptions and visuals add to the overall experience and provide an educational aspect to the show. So take a trip back through time and experience Egypt, just don’t get eaten by the Nile Crocodile!

The floor space required for the full display is between 1,200 and 1,400 sqm depending on the circulation area. This tour can be configured in a circular, square or rectangular format and can be scaled in size relative to the area available.

There are 4 zones in the activity area:

• Desert Oasis: Nestled under life-sized palm trees and beside the clear waters of the oasis, the desert sands become your building blocks. Immerse yourself in a sea of over 250,000 LEGO bricks and let the ancient gods of Egypt guide your hand as you create your own monuments.
• Scurry up: Scarab beetles were revered in ancient Egypt and represent the god Khepri who pushed the sun into the sky each morning. Can you help build enough beetles to raise the sun. Work with the parts provided and build a beetle to add to the scarab display?
• Master Mason: The ancient Egyptians were masters of stone masonry and this is your chance to join them. Can you help to build an ancient Egyptian temple by contributing to our amazing community build?
• The Sands of Time: The Pharaoh has decreed that a great obelisk should be erected in his honour, but time is short to complete the task. Can you build an obelisk tall enough before the Sands of Time run out? Race against the clock to see if you can beat the tallest obelisk to date.

Bright Bricks will supply the complete feature including all the models, dioramas, soft furnishings and interactive features. The build of the models is extremely detailed and of exceptionally high quality.

Bright Bricks will also supply professional builders to assist with the interactive play.
