BRICKLIVE BRITANNIA is an exciting interactive LEGO® brick experience that takes visitors through British History from the Stone Age to the 21st Century. With over 40 stunning models, including the show stopping 8m long model of the Flying Scotsman, this show contains some of the most charming and fascinating LEGO® brick builds ever created.
Visitors can experience a walk through time, with many of the exhibits being dioramas that depict everyday life, as well as famous moments in British History.
The Flying Scotsman is enhanced by the inclusion of lighting, sound effects and steam coming from the train’s funnel. Information boards with all the models allow guests to learn more about the history of the UK, as well as telling visitors all about the builds and how they were created. This tour is an indoor asset and is absolutely ideal for smaller venues that require slightly smaller models.
There are three zones in the activity area:
❚ BUILD BRITAIN: add your own creation to a giant LEGO map of the UK. Use parts from a collection of over 50,000 pieces and leave your mark on the British Isles with your unique build.
❚ SPOTTING HISTORY: Can you identify the 10 LEGO models dotted around the show that depict items from British History. Learn and have fun at the same time as you look for the hidden clues.
❚ FREEPLAY: Dive into a pool of over 75,000 LEGO bricks and let your imagination run riot as you are free to build whatever comes to mind. Think there is an important moment in British History that we have missed, then why not build it?
